OFNL FTTH Fibre Outage - Penkridge ST19

We are currently aware of an outage effecting the ST19 area of PENKRIDGE. OFNL have provided the following information

313825: INCIDENT AFFECTING BROADBAND AND VOICE SERVICES
Last updated:(25 Jul 2024 07:36hrs) Status: Currently open. Location: Penkridge ST19. We are currently experiencing a network incident in Penkridge, ST19 affecting voice and data services. Engineers are currently investigating the issue and will provide an update as soon as possible or within 2 hours.

Please do not reset your equipment.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Update (25 Jul 2024 09:24hrs) Engineers have been investigating the problem and found that there is an equipment failure at site, an Engineer is on route to site with a replacement part and is expected to arrive just after 12:00pm. We are continuing to work to resolve this issue and a further update will be provided within 2 hours or as soon as possible.

OFNL have provided the following updates

Update (25 Jul 2024 18:26hrs) Our engineer returned to site at 17:15 and swapped out the faulty part.

Work to restore service was completed at 17:30 on 25/07/24.

Customers should now find services to be working as expected. We will continue to monitor services to ensure they remain stable.

Any issues being experienced after this time should be treated as individual cases and reported in the usual manner.

We apologise again for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience throughout this issue. Update (25 Jul 2024 15:38hrs) Our engineers have identified that the failed equipment requires a spare part from our stores.

They have left site to pick up the required new part and are returning to site to fit the part.

Our engineers ETA to return to site is 17:30.

We will provide a further update as soon as possible.

OFNL have provided the following update

Update (25 Jul 2024 13:09hrs) Engineers have arrived on site to begin repairs.

We are continuing to work to resolve this issue and a further update will be provided within 2 hours or as soon as possible.
