OFNL have advised they are currently aware of an outage affecting broadband and phone services in the TS26 TS27 Hartlepool area(s).

Last updated:(30 Apr 2026 22:50hrs) Status: Currently open. Location: TS26 TS27 Hartlepool. We have a network incident in Hartlepool affecting phone and internet services. Our team are looking into this and will provide an update by 01:00.

Please do not reset your equipment. Update (01 May 2026 08:06hrs) We are currently arranging for an engineering team to attend site to investigate a suspected fibre fault.

Further updates will be provided as soon as additional information becomes available. Update (30 Apr 2026 22:54hrs) We have completed a thorough remote investigation of the incident and identified that it is affecting a small percentage of customers. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to resolve the issue remotely and further on-site testing is required.

A field engineer will be arranged to attend the site first thing tomorrow morning to carry out diagnostics and resolve the fault.

  • OFNL has given following update : Update (01 May 2026 13:53hrs) The OFNL engineering team has arrived on site and is currently investigating the fault.

    We will provide further updates as soon as the team shares their findings. Update (01 May 2026 12:47hrs) OFNL engineering teams have been dispatched to investigate the suspected fibre fault. Their current estimated time of arrival is 14:00 on 01/05/2026.

    We are currently experiencing an issue affecting inbound email to our mailboxes.

    Emails sent to us may be delayed. Most messages should remain queued and be delivered once the issue is resolved, however there is a possibility that some emails may not arrive.

    This may result in delays to new tickets and responses.
